FAQ For Students

How do I take an online yoga class on Yoga Nexus?

To get started as a student on Yoga Nexus, click “Register” in the top menu to create an account. After you register and log in, you can go to the “Classes” tab in the navigation bar to view available classes.

Once you find your desired class, simply click “Add to cart”

Next, click “Checkout” in the top right corner of the screen. You’ll be prompted to enter your credit card information and purchase the class.

Once complete, you can view your purchased classes under the “Account” tab.
When you’re ready to join the live class, simply click “Join Class” and you’re in!

Why do some classes cost more than others?

When you pay for a yoga class on Yoga Nexus, you are paying the teacher — not Yoga Nexus. And each individual teacher sets their own price. Yoga Nexus does not control the price of each class — the teacher does.

What if the class I want to take is full?

For a more intimate experience, the Yoga Nexus virtual studio only allows up to 16 students per yoga class. Individual teachers also have the option to limit their class size to even fewer students if they feel like a smaller class will best serve the students in it.

If you want to take a specific class from a specific teacher, be sure to register for that class ahead of time.

If it is already full, check back on the Yoga Nexus calendar regularly for last-minute openings.

Can I turn my camera off during class?

Yes, in the Yoga Nexus virtual studio you have the ability to turn your camera off and mute your microphone.

What types of classes are offered on Yoga Nexus?

The teachers in the Yoga Nexus network come from diverse backgrounds. They’re skilled at teaching yoga online and they offer a variety of different types of yoga classes.

Through our messaging and culture, we aim to attract authentic teachers that understand the deep wisdom of yoga and are open to teaching all ability levels.

Yoga can range from simply connecting with your breath, to a regimented Ashtanga series, to a tailored sequence for a certain physical or mental ailment.

What happens if I get disconnected in the middle of a class?

If you are kicked out of the virtual studio, go back to your account and click “Join Class” again. You’ll be able to rejoin the class at any time.

Yoga Nexus is not responsible for slow or poor internet connections.

What happens if I can’t attend a class after I’ve signed up?

If you need to cancel a class you’ve already registered for, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance. To cancel your class, go to your account and click “Cancel” next to the class listing.

In the event of a no-show, the amount that you paid for the class will be forfeited to the instructor whose class you were registered for. There will be no refunds in these situations.
