Angel has always had a passion for health, holistic wellness and for encouraging peace and joy in everyday life. A lover of movement and creativity, she grew up a dancer and has always had a passion for strength & flexibility training. She was first introduced to yoga 10 years ago and fell in love with the practice immediately. She continued to practice whenever an opportunity came up, and finally after beginning to dive deep into yoga a few years later, she decided to start looking for a teacher training to deepen her knowledge of yoga and be able to share it with others. Financial barriers were a limiting aspect in her journey to becoming a yoga instructor, but finally, with the assistance of prayer and scholarship grants, she was able to deepen her education in the world of yoga.

Now a 500 hour certified instructor, Angel is passionate about offering yoga classes at an affordable rate to help make yoga accessible for all.

She first received her 200 hour certificate through CorePower Yoga with an emphasis in Power Yoga, and later continued her studies with Indra Yoga Institute where she received her 300 hour certificate. There, she studied several forms of yoga including Vinyasa, Yin and Trauma-Informed Yoga, as well as Meditation, Chanting, Pranayama, Yoga for Social Justice and Ayurveda.

Angel’s mission as a teacher is to encourage inclusivity and offer a welcoming environment for all. She looks forward to utilizing the Yoga Nexus platform to offer a free class each month, as well as many more offerings where she can hold space for others to tap into their own innate inner wisdom, find connection, and dive deep into the sacred teachings of yoga to encourage transformation and liberation (Moksha) in our lives on and off the mat.
