Om Shanti, Om Peace. We are all told, “live your life to the fullest”; I am here to do just that. Yoga Nexus serves as a vessel to project my many passions as to what inspires me in this crazy world, teaching Yin Yoga. Dez is a certified 200-hour RYS, YACEP.  She is a seva devout practitioner of Yin Yoga for several years. Her practice and classes emphasize the threefold principles of Yin Yoga; Stillness of the body (Asanas), Stillness of the breath (Pranayama), & Stillness of the mind (Meditation). The ultimate goal of this ancient Chinese form of communion with the self was moksha; the Sanskrit word for liberation.  Together these threefold principles of Yin Yoga refine and purify the Nadis (energy channels of the body) so that Prana (life force energy) can shine forth the individual's divinity. Her goal is to provide the time and space for individuals to relax and return to a state of being (instead of doing) in a culture that values busyness, which is a rare gift. Her classes are suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners and beginners.
